The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

No matter where you go, no matter what you’re doing, as a baptized child of God you are ascribing worth to him with your very existence! Flawed and sinful though you are, you are God’s child, shining God’s light into this world. And that means the very breath in your lungs is an act of worship.

We know we will be spending all eternity with God, safe and secure in heaven… but right now is the only time we will ever get to do the gritty, exciting work of serving God in a still-very-much-fallen world.

As a Christian, you know you have an eternity of perfect time waiting for you in heaven… and that means you can thoughtfully embrace your limited time here on earth.
