Morality

Everyone has a worldview – a lens through which we perceive the world around us. Our worldview is formed by our education, our upbringing, the culture we live in, the books we read, the media and movies we absorb, etc. Most people simply soak up their worldview from the culture around them and don’t give it much additional thought. However, God commands Christians to “always be prepared to give an answer for the hope that we have” in Christ Jesus. We need to know the implications of our worldview, so that we can defend and share it.

According to apologist Ravi Zacharias, every worldview must answer the following four questions: 1.) Origin (where did I come from?), 2.) Meaning (what is the purpose of my life?), 3.) Morality (who determines what is right and wrong?), and 4.) Destiny (what’s going to happen to me when I die?) This sermon series will tackle those 4 questions from the perspective of the God’s inspired Word, the Bible.
